"Smart Homes" will soon become a reality

As part of Singapore’s drive towards being a Smart Nation, Qingjian Realty has teamed up with tech giants Samsung to construct “smart homes” for the future, which will recognise home owners’ living habits and lifestyle patterns and offer a revolutionary living experience.

According to reports, The Visionaire at Sembawang will be the first executive condominium to experience this technology integration.

This collaboration with Samsung will set to benefit many home owners who are under Qingjian Realty’s portfolio. Discussions have also been taking place with these home owners, on how to integrate various household technologies with their mobile devices better in their smart homes in future.

It was noted that the existing technology already have the capabilities to remotely operate washing machines and as well as vacuum cleaners.

Mr Andy Sim, the General Manager (Enterpirse Business) of Samsung Asia said that they were exciting to get this collaboration underway, as both organisations are thrilled to commit to the initiative of working towards being Smart Nation – by beginning works with people’s homes and themselves.

As mentioned by the Head of Sales and Marketing for the developer Qingjian Realty, Mr Donald Ng, they are determined to make whatever seems futuristic in the olden days, a reality today. The Visionaire EC will be the first step.

Even though the technology may not be fully operational for such coherent integration, Qingjian Realty believe that with the coordinated efforts via the blueprint for the Smart Nation, they can make the ideas of smart homes come true.
