Nestle has opened a new extension to its research and development (R&D) centre here.
The Swiss food giant invested almost 4 million Swiss francs ($5 million) in the extension, which is expected to create 20 new jobs this year.
"With this investment, our R&D centre in Singapore becomes our leading global R&D centre for Nescafe coffee mixes and Milo," said Mr Johannes Baensch, Nestle's global head of R&D, at the opening ceremony on Wednesday.
