This is some blog description about this site
Westgate in Jurong East will be opening its doors in December before Christmas to showcase Singapore's largest thematic outdoor playground in a mall.
Dubbed Westgate Wonderland, the customised playground will be located on Level 4 of the mall and will be open to the public for free. Children will get to enjoy a larger-than-life garden with oversized replicas of flora and fauna, as well as gigantic insects, a 10 metre-tall tree house, musical flowers and a huge watering can that sprays water. There will be dry and wet areas as well as different play zones that cater to children of varying age groups.
Moreover, there will be a Kids Club, a supervised play area for children aged between four and 12. Situated on top of Westgate Wonderland on Level 5, Kids Club offers programmed activities set amidst a 4,600 sq ft thematic outdoor playground and an indoor clubhouse. It will also feature a reading corner and group birthday celebrations every first weekend of the month. Shoppers only have to spend a minimum amount at Westgate to get their children free admission into Kids Club.
Wee Su Lin, General Manager of Westgate, said: "At the onset of conceptualisation, we envisioned Westgate as a mall that goes 'beyond shopping' – a gathering place for the community and a place where families come to enjoy themselves and spend the day. We thus anchor the mall's family and lifestyle mall positioning with a dedicated family zone on Level 4, where the centrepiece will be Westgate Wonderland."
"By opening Westgate Wonderland to the public for free, we hope to make world-class play facilities more accessible to our shoppers. This is also part of our commitment to make Westgate the premier mall in the west of Singapore."
