GuocoLand recently announced plans to develop Tanjong Pagar Centre, a 290-metre high project, which upon completion is set to be the Lion State’s tallest building.
Tanjong Pagar Centre, which spans over 157,935 sqm, is slated for completion in 2016 and has been designed by architectural firm Skidmore, Owings & Merrill.

In the main tower, there will be a luxury business hotel. The development will include Guoco Tower, a 38-storey Grade A office block, as well as six floors dedicated to retail, with the Tanjong Pagar MRT integrated. There will be a city room, which will be incorporated in to the Tanjong Pagar City Park, intended to for use as a community space for recreation and events.

Situated on Choon Guan Street, Peck Seah Street and the new Wallich Street in the heart of Tanjong Pagar, the area has been earmarked for development as Singapore’s next lifestyle hub in the central business district.
Tanjong Pagar Centre has also been recognised for its environmentally friendly features, as the Guoco Tower has been achieved The Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design platinum precertification.
